For the first time in six seasons, the Hilliard Darby High School boys cross country team doesn't have a returning state qualifier. However, that doesn't mean the Panthers expect to take a step back and not be represented at state on Nov. 6 at Scioto Downs.



* Irish girls hope to catch Minagawa twins

The Dublin Scioto High School girls cross country team featured the strongest group of top four runners in central Ohio last year on the way to winning OCC-Cardinal Division and Division I district 2 titles and finishing second in the region.



* Cross Country: Large numbers to boost Coffman girls

Dublin Coffman High School girls cross country coach Jim Ferguson was stunned to see a program-record 73 athletes show up for the first day of practice.
